Katie Yang is from Taipei, Taiwan and has been photographing with film for two years. She runs a blog called Curating Cuteness where she documents her life in pictures.
"I blog in English as the English-speaking is my primary audience. I run an online shop and manage a hostel with my friends - which renders me a lot of free time as long as I've finished up all the work I have to do."
"I love the never-ending anticipation from focusing to composing to clicking of shutter to finishing a roll to sending it to the lab to perusing the final images over and over again."
"I travel mostly within Asia currently but I hope one day to go to Europe and travel between countries via train. I speak Chinese, English, basic Korean and a teeny bit of Japanese. I have no concrete plans but I would love to live in another country (could be anywhere) at some point. "
"I photograph almost everyday, except if the weather is too awful for even indoor photography when I don't step out of the house. Unfortunately, I'm self-taught but I really think proper classes would definitely help. I would definitely do that if time and money allows in the near future."
