"The best part about growing up is the realization that you can be
whatever kind of adult you want to be. You don’t have to live up to
standards or fit in-between lines at all. No one tells you this enough
when you’re younger."
Normal
is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through
traffic in a car that you are still paying for – in order to get to the
job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you
leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
